J2 Global Buys UK Email Security And Management Business EPA Cloud - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - j2 Global, Inc. (JCOM), a provider of Internet services through its business cloud and digital media divisions, announced Thursday that it has acquired EPA Cloud, a UK-based Email Security and Management company. The company did not reveal the terms of the acquisition.

j2 Global said the financial impact of the acquisition is not expected to be material.

j2 Global CEO Hemi Zucker said, "This acquisition reflects our continued interest in the email security and management space and our commitment to growing this business globally."

With this acquisition, j2 has expanded its customer base and technical expertise in sales, support and email security infrastructure in the UK and rest of Europe.

EPA Cloud Managing Director Craig MacAlpine, who will continue in his UK-based role as part of the acquisition, said, "j2's depth and breadth in its various cloud businesses provides EPA Cloud with the resources and expertise to continue its expansion in the region."
