KB Home Buys 78 Acres Along San Antonio's IH-10 Corridor For New Community

(RTTNews) - Home builder KB Home (KBH) said it has purchased 78 acres along San Antonio's popular IH-10 corridor for a new community called Mirabel, where the builder plans to construct 276 Built to Order homes at the base of the Texas Hill Country.

Development is scheduled to begin in September, with an official grand opening anticipated in spring of 2015.

Mirabel marks KB Home's return to San Antonio's Far Northwest. The well-situated parcel is just minutes from major employers, including the University of Texas San Antonio, Valero, NuStar, USAA, The Shops at La Conterra and The Rim.

Mirabel, located on Old Fredericksburg and Ralph Fair roads, would also be a short drive to Northside ISD schools, the firm added.
