Las Vegas Sands Corp. Bottom Line Advances 8% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) revealed a profit for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $607 million, or $0.77 per share. This was up from $562 million, or $0.71 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.68 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.2% to $3.41 billion. This was up from $3.18 billion last year.
