Louisiana Pacific Reports 67% Gain In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Louisiana Pacific (LPX) reported earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $109.8 million, or $0.75 per share. This was higher than $65.6 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.73 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 20.4% to $718.3 million. This was up from $596.4 million last year.
