Microsoft Corporation Q2 Earnings Climb 6%

(RTTNews) - Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) released a profit for its second quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $6.52 billion, or $0.83 per share. This was up from $6.15 billion, or $0.76 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.2% to $26.07 billion. This was up from $25.51 billion last year.
