Nasdaq Inc. Q4 Profit Increases, Beats Estimates

(RTTNews) - Nasdaq Inc. (NDAQ) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line came in at $355 million, or $0.61 per share. This compares with $197 million, or $0.36 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Nasdaq Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $438 million or $0.76 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.75 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the period rose 23.1% to $2.029 billion from $1.648 billion last year.
