Nike's Apple Watch To Hit On 28th

(RTTNews) - Apple's new watch co-branded with Nike will be available from October 28th. The series 2 watch will run on dual core processor and watchOS3. All the apps that runs on Apple watch will be compatible in Nike+ too.

The series 2 that comes with a caption "For the love of running" has built in global positioning system to track your pace, distance and route. One can have a dip in the pool after a walk or run as the new Nike+ has a water resistance of up to 50 meters.

It has a heart rate sensor and a comprehensive workout app. The device uses green LED lights paired with light-sensitive photodiodes to detect the amount of blood flowing through the wrist at any given moment.

The new fitness watch will be available on Apple site. The one with 38 mm case and strap size of 130 - 200 mm has a price tag of 369 pounds. The other model with 42 mm case and 140-210 strap size will cost 399 pounds. It will be available in various colour combinations. The strap is made up of light weight fluroelastomer and has a row of compression molded perforations for good ventilation.

The Nike+ fitness watch was first introduced on September 7 at an event in San Francisco, California.
