ParkerVision Sues Apple For Patent Infringement - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - ParkerVision, Inc. (PRKR) announced its German subsidiary, ParkerVision GmbH, has filed a complaint against Apple for the infringement of the German part of a European Patent. The accused products include the Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and the iPad Air 2.
ParkerVision said the patent at issue in the case is the same patent the company asserted against LG Electronics Deutschland, GmbH, a German subsidiary of LG Electronics, Inc., in June 2016. A hearing in the LG case is scheduled for November 10, 2016.
"We are pleased with the efficiency of the German court system in our infringement proceedings against LG, and we anticipate similar results in this case against Apple," said Jeffrey Parker, CEO of ParkerVision.
