Pre-market Movers For Dec 3 (AAPL, UNIS, OMED, TSLA, CNAT, KKD, YUM)

Apple Inc. (AAPL) is up nearly 1 percent to $556.00. The company reportedly has acquired social-media search and analytics company Topsy Labs Inc. for more than $200 million.

Unilife Corp. (UNIS) is up 21 percent to $5.02. The company announced an agreement to supply clinical products from one of its platforms of injectable drug delivery systems for use with one of Novartis' (NVS) targeted early-stage pipeline drugs.

OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OMED) is jumping 79 percent to $25.25. The company and Celgene Corp. (CELG) announced an agreement to jointly develop and commercialize up to six anti-cancer stem cell product candidates from OncoMed's biologics pipeline, including demcizumab. OncoMed would receive a $155 million upfront payment, and Celgene would buy nearly $22.25 million in a private placement of newly issued common shares of OncoMed at $15.13 per share.

Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA) is up 6 percent to $131.75. The company reported that the German Federal Motor Transport Authority have found no manufacturer-related defects, in its investigations on Model S post-crash fire incidents in Seattle, Tennessee and Mexico.

Conatus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (CNAT) is up 21 percent to $7.46. The company announced that the FDA has granted Orphan Drug status to its drug candidate emricasan for the treatment of liver transplant recipients with reestablished fibrosis to delay the progression to cirrhosis and end-stage liver disease.

Decliners:

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (KKD) is falling 15 percent to $20.81 following the release of its quarterly results.

Yum! Brands, Inc. (YUM) is down 2 percent to $75.79. The company reconfirmed its full-year 2013 earnings per share forecast of high-single to low double-digit year-over-year decline, excluding special items. The company also said it expects to deliver at least 20 percent earnings per share growth in 2014, excluding special items. Yum! Brands said November same-store sales increased an estimated 1 percent for its China Division.
