Procter & Gamble Co. Q2 Income Climbs 8%

(RTTNews) - Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) released earnings for its second quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $2.98 billion, or $1.04 per share. This was higher than $2.75 billion, or $0.95 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.5% to $16.92 billion. This was down from $18.50 billion last year.
