RREEF Private Equity Hires Adam Graev as a Director

RREEF Private Equity, a part of RREEF Alternative Investments, the global alternatives asset management business of Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management division today announced that Adam Graev has joined its DB Secondary Opportunities Private Equity Fund as a Director. Graev is responsible for the identification and execution of secondary and co-investment transactions in North America. Based in New York, he reports jointly to Charles Smith and Carlo Pirzio-Biroli, both Managing Directors and co-managers of the DB Secondary Opportunities Private Equity Fund. Graev joins the fund from Pomona Capital where he was a Vice President and focused on secondary and secondary direct transactions. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers and focused on direct private equity investments. "Adam’s direct and secondary private equity experience made him a natural fit for our team,” said Christopher Hughes, CEO, Private Equity and Hedge Funds at RREEF Alternative Investments. "His relationships with general partners, limited partners and secondary market players will help support RREEF Private Equity’s growth.” With $775 million of committed capital, DB Secondary Opportunities Fund is actively investing in secondary portfolios, secondary direct portfolios and direct private equity co-investments. Earlier this year, RREEF Private Equity also announced the completion of an acquisition of a significant minority interest in the business of Aldus Equity, an alternative asset management and advisory boutique specializing in customized private equity investing. Graev holds a BA from Colgate University.
