SEI Investments Bottom Line Declines 8% In Q1

(RTTNews) - SEI Investments (SEIC) revealed earnings for first quarter that retreated from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $77.50 million, or $0.47 per share. This was lower than $84.61 million, or $0.50 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.44 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.7% to $334.26 million. This was up from $325.44 million last year.
