SEI Investments Canada Says Unitholders Of Two Funds Approve Mandate Changes
(RTTNews) - SEI Investments Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEI Investments Co. (SEIC) said that unitholders of its Canada-based Growth 70/30 Fund and Global Growth 100 Fund have approved changes to the two funds' investment objectives.
These changes were voted on at the special meeting of unitholders held on January 12, 2015, in Toronto and does not impact the company's U.S.-based fund holders.
The Growth 70/30 Fund, which will be renamed the Growth Fund, will aim to achieve long-term growth of capital and income through investment in a portfolio of Canadian and foreign equity securities as well as Canadian and foreign fixed income securities.
The Global Growth 100 Fund, which will be renamed the All Equity Fund, will aim to achieve long-term growth of capital through investment in a diversified portfolio of Canadian and foreign equity securities.
