Siebel Systems to Host Siebel User Week 2005, Barcelona; Europe's Lea

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2005--Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEBL), a leading provider of business applications software, today announced that its Siebel User Week 2005 conference will be held April 17-20 at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB) in Barcelona, Spain. The annual conference -- which is expected to attract more than 2,000 customers, solution providers, speakers, and presenters in the CRM and business analytics communities -- will also showcase Siebel Systems' customer successes. The company will also host the first European Siebel Business Intelligence Summit in Barcelona, which will run concurrently with the conference.

Siebel User Week will feature an opening day keynote from Mike Lawrie, Chief Executive Officer, Siebel Systems, who will outline Siebel Systems' strategy, value proposition, and business direction for the future. In addition, Rik Op den Brouw, Senior Executive Vice President of Group ICT, Rabobank, will present a keynote address about the business results the bank achieved from implementing Siebel Retail Banking across its branch network, and Don Peppers, Founding Partner, Peppers & Rogers Group will share his perspective on the future of customer management. Other Siebel executives scheduled to present include Bruce Cleveland, Senior Vice President and General Manager, OnDemand and SMB, and David Schmaier, Executive Vice President.
