Sizzling Success: McDonald's Expands All-Day Breakfast Menu

(RTTNews) - Fast food giant McDonald's Corp. (MCD) Wednesday announced that it is expanding its All-Day Breakfast menu to include biscuit, McMuffin and McGriddle sandwiches starting this September.

McDonald's all-day breakfast had boosted the fast-food chain's same-store-sales growth for two consecutive quarters. Now, the company plans to tap on the traffic increase by giving customers more options.

"McDonald's will be shifting to one national All Day Breakfast menu allowing guests to enjoy even more breakfast choices nationwide at participating restaurants," the company said in a statement.

Currently, most restaurants serve McMuffin sandwiches or Biscuit sandwiches after normal breakfast hours. With the new bigger All Day Breakfast menu, customers will be able to choose from McMuffin and Biscuit sandwiches, as well as the newest addition, McGriddles.

The Oak Brook, Illinois-based company had began serving breakfast all day in October 2015, after getting hundreds of request for the same.
