Trustmark Profit Tops Estimates

(RTTNews) - Financial services company Trustmark Corp. (TRMK) on Tuesday reported first-quarter net earnings of $29.1 million or $0.43 per share compared with $29 million or $0.43 per share last year.

Net interest income for the quarter was $101.5 million compared with $98.7 million last year. Non interest income totaled $42.4 million compared with $44 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.39 per share on revenues of $143 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Trustmark declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.23 per share.
