Wegmans Again The Nation's Favorite Grocery Store

(RTTNews) - Wegmans is America's favorite grocery story, as it earned high scores in the annual retail grocery study conducted by Market Force Information.

Wegmans got 76 percent votes in loyalty index, while Trader Joe's got 73 percent. Hy-Vee Food stores comes next with 68 percent votes followed by Aldi with 65 percent. Retailer Costco got 60 percent votes.

More than 10,000 shopper participated in the study. Participants judged Wegmans for quality and freshness of products and reasonable price.

Wegmans was established in 1916 and recorded sales of $7.9 billion last year.
