New York, September 27, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has today said that it views as credit negative the recently announced CEO transition at Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (A2 stable). Currently, Moody's believes the company's credit metrics to be weak. As a result there is no room in the rating for any change to its financial policies or priorities, and the announcement raises uncertainty in this regard. However, we have not changed the ratings as we expect metrics to improve once global demand growth begins to recover, by mid 2014 at the latest.
