CSC Names Mary Jo Morris President, World Sourcing Services

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In a move to better serve clients and align its organization with the company's comprehensive new strategy for growth, Computer Sciences Corporation today announced that it has named Mary Jo Morris, 52, to the position of President, World Sourcing Services.

This new organization is responsible for proactively extending CSC's reach into new geographic markets to support global business channels and expand the company's World Sourcing footprint. Under this new organization, offshore and near-shore delivery centers will be managed globally so that customers receive the benefits of global leverage, a consistent set of delivery processes and the mix of near-shore and offshore resources appropriate to their needs.

In her new role, Morris, who formerly led the company's Global Transformation Solutions organization, will direct strategy and performance of CSC's remote delivery centers worldwide. Morris will also be responsible for expanding CSC's geographic presence to penetrate new markets and extend CSC's World Sourcing footprint, particularly in Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe.

Before her most recent assignment as president of CSC's Global Transformation Services organization, Mary Jo Morris was president of CSC's Technology Management Group. Previously, she served as the first president of CSC's Application Services Division. She joined CSC in 1991 as director of Professional Services for TMG and was promoted to vice president of Applications for the group in 1995. Morris has bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from San Diego State University and a master's degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was awarded the title of Alfred P. Sloan Fellow.
