DuPont Teijin Films Names John Groves Chief Operating Officer

WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- John C. Groves has been named chief operating officer and vice chairman of the global management committee of DuPont Teijin Films, a 50/50 joint venture between DuPont and Teijin Limited of Japan. He previously was business development director for DuPont Safety & Protection.

Groves has served in several business leadership roles with DuPont, including in the surfaces and imaging businesses. He joined DuPont in 1973.

Groves will work closely with Masaaki Hojo who succeeded Henry B. Voigt as CEO of the joint venture this month. Voigt will retire at the end of the year following 37 years of service with DuPont, including CEO of DuPont Teijin Films since 2004.
