OMX and SGX Sign Agreement on New Data Feed System

OMX (STO:OMX) and Singapore Exchange Limited ("SGX") todayannounced that they have signed an agreement to develop a new datafeed system that will further enhance SGX's data disseminationservices to market participants.

The new data feed system is designed to enrich and package pricedata from multiple sources. With this system, SGX can enable brokersand data vendors to provide comprehensive data to their customers.

This collaboration with OMX supports SGX's continuing efforts torenew and refresh its IT infrastructure, with the objective of raisingoverall efficiency and enhancing service quality to marketparticipants.

"This initiative with OMX enables SGX to offer new value-addedprice data to meet the needs of our customers. The new data feedsystem will also support future growth in price data traffic andimprove transmission speed," said Chew Hong Gian, Head of Technologyat SGX.

"This agreement further strengthens OMX's leading position inmarketplace solutions for market data dissemination. We look forwardto continue working with SGX to further strengthen their position as aleader in service quality," said Markus Gerdien, President, MarketTechnology, OMX.

OMX will base the new solution on a market data system from Cicadaand integrate it with SGX's trading engine, SGX QUEST. The solution iscustomised to SGX requirements and will be implemented in 2007.
