Prudential Annuities Names Harry Johnson National Sales Manager for Wirehouse Regional Channel

Prudential Annuities, the domestic annuity business for Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), announced today that Harry Johnson has joined Prudential Annuities as national sales manager for the wirehouse regional channel--one of four distribution channels that also include the independent broker dealer, bank and agency channels. In this role, Johnson will focus on achieving sustained sales success through initiatives targeting the distinct needs of each wirehouse and its sales professionals. He will report to Alex MacGillivray, national sales manager of Prudential Annuities. "Harry has many years of experience leading top wirehouse wholesaling teams, and we will rely on his expertise to help define our strategies for increasing sales within new and existing relationships,” said MacGillivray. Johnson brings more than 20 years of financial services experience to this position. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and western division sales manager for John Hancock Wood Logan, working with the wirehouse and regional broker dealer firms in 23 states and overseeing wholesaler activity and key account relationships. His broad-based financial services career includes managerial positions with firms including AXA Distributors, Equitable Distributors, American Express Financial Advisors and Dean Witter Reynolds.
