Sprint Nextel Hosts ‘Warm-up and Charge-Up’ Inauguration Day Event

Sprint Nextel:

TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2009
10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Sprint Retail Store
609 14th Street, NW
Washington, DC

WHAT:

Next week’s historic Presidential Inauguration is an unprecedented event for the Nation's Capitol with millions of people expected to attend. Forecasted cold temperatures and heavy cell phone use will leave spectators with cold bodies and drained cell phone batteries.

Sprint has the answer to both dilemmas. Parade-goers are encouraged to stop by Sprint’s retail location at 14th Street to ‘warm-up’ with a free cup of coffee and pastry and while there take a moment to ‘charge up’ their cell phone so they don’t miss that ‘can’t miss’ picture, text message or call.

More information about Sprint’s preparations can be found at Sprint Is Prepared to Provide Critical Communications During the Historic 2009 Presidential Inauguration (Press Release Dated Jan. 13, 2009).

WHEN: Tuesday, January 20, 2009 - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Sprint Retail Store, 609 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC.

Note: The Sprint store located at 1208 18th Street NW, Washington, DC will also be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but will not be serving refreshments.
