Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi Resigns From New York Times Board

(RTTNews) - Uber Technologies Inc. Chief Executive Dara Khosrowshahi stepped down from the New York Times Company's (NYT) board of directors Friday, according to a filing with SEC.

The filing noted that Khosrowshahi's decision to resign as a director was not due to any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.

On September 7, Khosrowshahi informed The New York Times Company that, in light of his new role and increased responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Uber Technologies, he would resign from Board of Directors, effective immediately, the filing specified.

Khosrowshahi had served as a director since 2015, and was a member of the Audit Committee and Technology & Innovation Committee.
