Bank of America Names Michael Frick Memphis Market President

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America Tennessee President John Stein today announced that Michael Frick, age 48, has been named market president for Memphis and surrounding communities.

As market president, Frick will be the senior executive for business, civic and philanthropic leadership for Bank of America in Memphis. He will work to strengthen communication and integration among the company's local business lines and strive to continuously improve customer experience, grow revenue in the region and represent Bank of America in the community.

"Mike is an experienced banker who will be an effective champion for business growth, community investment and neighborhood vitality in the Memphis area," said Stein. "Memphis is a key growth market for Bank of America and we are fortunate to have such a strong, proven leader like Mike heading our team locally."

As Memphis market president, Frick succeeds Gerald Wade, who pursued other interests outside the bank.

Frick will continue to serve as a senior client manager in Commercial Banking. In this role, he is responsible for business development and client strategies for Commercial Banking clients in Memphis, West Tennessee and Mississippi.

Frick joined Bank of America in 1980 after graduating from Rhodes College and has lived in Memphis for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, he has held a number of leadership positions within Commercial Banking.

In Memphis, Frick is currently the treasurer and a board member for the City of Memphis and Shelby County Redevelopment Agency and serves as a member of the Medical District Advisory Board. In addition, he previously served as president of the Central Gardens Association.
