State Street Global Markets, the investment research and trading arm of State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT), announced today that it has achieved top rankings in Global Investor's 2005 Foreign Exchange (FX) Survey. Respondents rated State Street No. 1 for Best Capital Flow Research and Best Trading/Portfolio Management Technology Integration. The Global Markets foreign exchange trading and sales team also topped the category for Most Improved Service over the past 12 months.
State Street also received high rankings in categories for daily research FX strategy solutions, and placed second for overall FX service by all Global Investor 100 companies and by Real Money Accounts. The Global Investor FX Survey is comprised of results from more than 550 respondents. A total of 90 qualified responses were received from the Global Investor 100, which includes the world's largest third party managers.
