Bank of America Names Jean-Luc Dubois Head of European Commodities and Paul Barwell Head of European Energy Trading
NEW YORK and LONDON, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America today announced the appointment of Jean-Luc Dubois as head of European Commodities. Based in London, he is charged with growing the commodities business in Europe and reports to Jeffrey Pagano, head of EMEA Global Liquid Products, and Stephen Griffin, head of Commodities Sales, who is based in New York. In addition, the bank has named Paul Barwell head of European Energy Trading. Based in London, Barwell reports to Dubois and Paul Broderick, global head of Energy, who is based in New York.

A seasoned professional with nearly 25 years of commodities sales, marketing and trading expertise, Dubois has joined Bank of America from Koch Supply & Trading Ltd where he spent the past 10 years in varying capacities, including managing the international oil derivatives team; developing the firm's North American metals trading activity, and as a founding member of Koch Metals Trading Ltd. He holds a license in Geological & Mineral Sciences from UCL-LLN, Belgium and a degree in Business Administration from IAG-LLN, Belgium.
Barwell has also joined Bank of America from Koch Supply & Trading Ltd, where he spent the past seven years as head of derivatives trading for Europe and Asia. He brings nearly 10 years of energy derivative sales, trading and marketing experience to the bank and holds a degree in Management Studies from Swansea University.
Earlier this month, Bank of America launched coal and freight trading capabilities and announced the intent to enter carbon emissions trading pending, regulatory approval.
