ExxonMobil's FLEXSORB Technology Selected for Steeprock, Canada Application to Meet 10 vppm H2S Treated Gas Specification

The FLEXSORB SE Plus technology is well suited for selectiveremoval of H2S thereby enriching the feed to a Claus Plant SulfurRecovery Unit (SRU). It can consistently and reliably achieve lessthan 10 vppm H2S in the treated gas even at the low pressure ahead ofthe SRU.

FLEXSORB SE and FLEXSORB SE Plus amine scrubbing technologies areproven, cost-effective ways to selectively remove H2S from process gasstreams, even in the presence of CO2. More efficient than conventionalamine gas treating, this technology easily fits into refining, naturalgas processing, and petrochemicals operations using conventional gastreating equipment.
