Filip Rensky and Teresa Teague Join Bank of America's Investment Banking Financial Sponsors Group
NEW YORK, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America today announced that Filip Rensky and Teresa Teague have joined the Financial Sponsors Group at Banc of America Securities as Managing Directors. Rensky and Teague are reporting to Karim Assef, U.S. head of the Financial Sponsors Group, which serves as a leading advisor to private equity firms - providing both strategic M&A advice and financing solutions to these clients.

Banc of America Securities has been involved in many of the largest leveraged buyout transactions announced recently - playing both M&A advisory and lead financing roles. Rensky and Teague are responsible for driving revenue growth by further increasing Bank of America's market share among key Financial Sponsor clients.

Rensky joined Bank of America after 16 years with Goldman Sachs, where he most recently focused on providing investment banking coverage across the consumer, industrial and technology industries. Before that, he held M&A, Project Finance and Municipal Finance positions at the firm. Rensky received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Columbia University.
Teague has 13 years of investment banking and finance experience, including 11 years with Goldman Sachs, where she most recently focused on providing investment banking services to Financial Sponsors. She also spent several years in London and New York in various other investment banking and finance positions. Teague received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
