    CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2005--Van Kampen Asset Management announced today that the Board of Trustees of each of Van Kampen California Municipal Trust (AMEX/CHX: VKC), Van Kampen California Quality Municipal Trust (NYSE/CHX: VQC), Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade California Municipals (NYSE/CHX: VIC) and Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust (NYSE/CHX: VCV) approved a reorganization of each of VKC, VQC and VIC into VCV. The proposed reorganization will be presented for shareholder approval at a special meeting of shareholders.
